Acquisition of McQuay Szanyo and Szanyo Servize in Hungary.
2006
Daikin Device Czech Republic (DDCZ) was established as Compressor Factory.
OYL-McQuay became a new member of the Daikin Group.
2004
The new Daikin factory in Plzen, Czech Republic was established.
1999
DACE BuildingDaikin Airconditioning Central Europe was established as Headquater for its affiliates in Croatia, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Hungary, former Yugoslavia, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia and Romania. For an optimized local support, offices were founded in Bratislava, Budapest, Bukarest, Prague and Warszaw.

Daikin started to sell its products in Hungary

The company became present on the Slovakian market.

Daikin began to sell its products in Romania.
1993
Daikin products were introduced on the Polish market.

The company started to operate on the Czech market.
1972
Daikin Europe N.V.Daikin set up its European subsidiary, Daikin Europe NV in Ostend, Belgium. Continious investments, research and development support from its Japanese parent has subsequently enabled Daikin Europe to develop into the most advanced air conditioning manufactoring complex in Europe and acknowledgemed leader in the commercial and residential sectors of the air conditining market.
1924
Daikin Industries Ltd was established by Mr. Akira Yamada in Osaka, Japan. In those days the activities of the company were focused upon the manufacturing of heating pipes to be used in aeroplanes.
