Extended Sky Air Comfort Inverter

The Daikin Sky Air Comfort Inverter Series has been reduced in dimensions and extended with class 140 products.
Daikin Europe N.V. has extended its series of R-410A Sky Air heat pump comfort inverters with a single phase, 6HP RZQS140 model and at the same time reduced the dimensions for the existing models.
Available now in 3, 4, 5 and 6HP versions, RZQS units provide inverter solutions for customers not in need of top class Super inverter performance.
RZQS140 can be used in conjunction with a wide selection of Daikin ceiling suspended, concealed ceiling, ceiling mounted cassette (including the new Roundflow cassette) and wall mounted indoor units in 29 variants.
Modifications have been carried out to the Sky Air RZQS125 model reducing its height and weight. Both 5 and 6 HP models are now offered utilising the same outer casing.
Important features for the Sky Air Comfort Inverter include reduced refrigerant charge, increased COP and EER, a wide operating temperature range of -5°C to 46°C (cooling) and -15°C to 15.5°C (heating) and a maximum piping length of 50m.
The incorporation of the highly efficient Daikin scroll compressor provides easier superheat control and improved performance. This unique compressor utilises energy saving technology to the full, its sine wave inverter smoothing out rotation, enhancing performance and minimising noise. Furthermore, it generates high energy efficiencies in the most frequently used mid to low settings keeping down electrical consumption.
Forward curved Aero spiral fan blades reduce pressure loss and turbulence and noise, both of which are reduced still more by the smooth air intake bell mouth. The Super Aero grille meanwhile, improves the COP by reducing power consumption of the fan without compromise to airflow rates.
Although designed primarily as a heat pump unit, Sky Air RZQS140 can be converted to cooling only operation via a setting which disables the heating mode. It is also 24 hour programmable and has a low operating noise of 52dBA, which can be reduced still further via the unit’s ‘quiet night’ function.
