New improved Sky Air inverter outdoor units for greater efficiency

The new Daikin Sky Air inverter outdoor units have improved design for increased efficiency across the board.
The RZQ-D Super Inverter (1 phase) and RZQS-D Comfort Inverter have improved design for increased efficiency across the board, up to 23% increase in cooling efficiency and up to 11% increase in heating efficiency in the case of the new RZQS100D compared to the old model RZQS100C. Both continue to support the connection of a wide range of indoor units and retain the wide temperature operating range. The RZQ Super Inverter and the RZQS Comfort Inverter have been developed for commercial applications, such as shops, restaurants and offices.
RZQ Super Inverter: high efficiency, flexible installation
The new RZQ-DV1 Super Inverter boasts top COP’s/EER’s in the market with energy label A ratings in most configurations. Like previous RZQ-CV1 units, the new RZQ supports an extended operating range: cooling at outdoor temperatures from -15°C up to 50°C and heating down to -20°C.
The RZQ is flexible with respect to piping diameter. While it uses R-410 refrigerant, like previous models, the unit also supports the re-use of existing R-22 or R-407C field piping. This means easier installation and lower installation costs when upgrading existing buildings. Piping lengths up to 95m are supported. The RZQ is also suitable for technical cooling, as in computer and other technical rooms.
RZQS Comfort Inverter: improved efficiency
The new RZQS-D Comfort Inverter also has improved COP’s/EER’s over previous RZQS-C models, with energy label ratings of B in most configurations. It retains its predecessor’s extended operating range - with cooling at outdoor temperatures up to 46°C and heating down to -15°C - and supports multiple indoor units.
Built to last
Both units share the Daikin emphasis on quality. Special acrylic pre-coated fins prevent corrosion on the heat exchanger and resist severe weather conditions. The outdoor units - available in 3,4,5,6 HP models - are fitted with a high quality Daikin swing or scroll compressor, renowned for low noise, high energy efficiency and trouble-free operation.
