Daikin Europe awards Turkish distributorship to Isisan Klima San. ve Tic. Ltd.
As part of its strategy of achieving a number 1 position in the large and still growing Turkish HVAC market, Daikin Europe N.V. announces the appointment of Isisan Klima San. ve Tic. Ltd. as Daikin sales and service representative throughout Turkey.
Continued importance of the Turkish market
The Turkish HVAC market has grown significantly prior to 2002 as a result of economic development and a construction boom. Despite its already large size – seventh in Europe in total, 3rd in residential units, after Spain and Italy – Turkey still has considerable growth potential. Penetration in the residential market is under 10%, with the residential market itself expected to grow, along with commercial and light commercial demand due to continuing investments in tourism, retailing, and banking.
