New Daikin Round Flow Cassette sets the standard for comfort and efficiency
Daikin Europe N.V. is the first on the market with a full range of Sky Air indoor and outdoor units for light commercial comfort applications already optimised for the soon-to-come seasonal efficiency standard. Included in the new line-up are the FCQG and FCQHG Round Flow Cassette flexible indoor units with a host of energy saving comfort features.
Top efficiency in all situations
The new Round Flow Cassettes already carry the seasonal efficiency ratings that will be mandatory in Europe starting in 2013. These ratings reveal the superior environmental performance of the Round Flow Cassette in real-life situations.
In addition, an optional built-in presence sensor allows optimisation for actual room occupancy, adjusting set point or switching off the unit, resulting in energy savings up to 27%. Optional auto-cleaning function ensures optimum airflow at all times and result in 50%* energy savings compared to standard panels (proven by a test case in Wolverhampton, UK).
Perfect comfort for your customers
Thanks to its 360° operation, the Round Flow cassette ensures even temperature throughout the room, with no dead spots. The built-in presence sensor not only allows energy savings when rooms are empty; when the room is occupied, it also directs air away from occupants for draught-free comfort. Finally the floor sensor measures the average floor temperature and provides even temperature distribution between ceiling and floor. The Round Flow Cassette’s perfect comfort, quiet operation and low visibility add up to an inviting environment for your visitors and guests.
Flexible installation
The Round Flow Cassettes are designed for easy installation thanks to the individually controllable flaps. These can easily be closed via the wired remote controller for cassette installation in corners and against walls, no need to change the location of the unit when rearranging the interior. The remote wired controller also supports full access to the unit’s functions and energy saving features, including indication of kW usage and flexible scheduling for different seasons. To improve control, DIII-net is from now on available as standard.
