In March 2022, our mother company Daikin Europe donated 1 Million Euro to the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) in order to provide humanitarian aid to the people in Ukraine and to those suffering displacement. Additionally, Daikin Central Europe donated 35,000 Euro to humanitarian organisations in Austria, Czech Republic, Romania, Hungary, and Moldova.
In February 2023, Daikin Europe group announced a donation of 230,000 euro worth of supplies to the people of Turkey affected by the devasteting earthquakes.

Daikin supports non-profit organizations that fight against inequality and poverty in the City of Vienna, like the Wiener Tafel, Europahaus des Kindes, Verein Wiener Frauenhäuser and Verein M.U.T. -
Bulgaria
Daikin Bulgaria donated Daikin Air Purifiers for better indoor air quality to children’s hospitals in different regions of Bulgaria and additionally supported children and elderly people. -
Croatia
Supporting communities after disastrous earthquakes, donating against children poverty, planting 500 seedlings in the Medvedncia nature Park. Daikin Croatia has a long tradition of doing meaningful things for people and the planet. -
Czech Republic
Cesta domů provides counselling and services for palliative care to people at the end of their lives as well as to their loved ones. Daikin Czech Republic is a long-term partner since 2019. -
Hungary
How can households reduce their carbon footprint? How can ambulances, hospitals or kindergardens improve indoor air quality? Daikin Hungary supported projects that have an impact on health and climate. -
Moldova
The recent years, Daikin Moldova repeatedly supported the organization Concordia Moldova which aims to improve the living conditions of children and families with precarious social backgrounds. -
North Macedonia
Air pollution in North Macedonia is very high. One of the major contributors are households that are using wood or pellet stoves for heating. Daikin’s local Sales and Service Agent ALMAKOS Klima d.o.o.e.l. supported families in need with climate-friendly air-to-air heat pumps. -
Romania
Daikin Romania partnered with Eco Assist, a well-known local NGO, and participated in a nationwide reforestation project starting in November 2019, where the employees planted more than 2.400 trees until today. -
