Optimized products and state-of-the-art technology meeting latest environmental regulations. Daikin proudly presents its most innovative solutions combining efficiency and design.
Vienna, September 2018 – To ensure strawberries will make their way from the fields to the consumers table staying fresh and tasty, it takes the best refrigeration systems. For example, Daikin HVAC-R solutions. This very story strawberries will tell during Chillventa 2018 in Nuremberg. It is a story out of many Daikin is proud to share with a knowledgeable audience. Daikin will present the latest new products and solutions from the VRV, Split, Sky Air, ventilation and chiller ranges as well as commercial refrigeration solutions by Daikin´s subsidiaries Zanotti and Tewis. In Nuremberg Daikin will also be joined by co-exhibitors Daikin Chemical Europe and by its subsidiary AAF International producing particle, gas phase as well as HEPA- and ULPA-filters for all possible applications.
New refrigerants to meet EU-regulations
Daikin is the only HVAC-R manufacturer also active in the chemical industry. This allows the company to respond flexibly to the EU F-Gas regulation as well as to promptly react to changes in the refrigerant market. Daikin Chemical Europe is responsible for the sale of high performance fluorochemical products in Europe, Middle-East and Africa. Daikin will also present its refrigerant strategy including programs to recover and recycle refrigerants in use – a big step in overcoming the EU refrigerant quota limitations.
At Chillventa visitors will have the opportunity to meet with experts from Daikin Chemical Europe at the booth or attend presentations in the conference center covering topics such as new refrigerants as well as possibilities for reclaiming or recycling of refrigerants.
Daikin expands its R-32 portfolio
With its new chiller series EWAT-B, Daikin is the first manufacturer to present a R-32 solution for chillers, available as single or twin circuit equipped with state-of-the-art technologies, a microchannel condenser as well as optional inverter-controlled pumps. With a GWP (Global Warming Potential) of 675 the R-32 refrigerant generates a lower environmental impact.
Another extension of the Bluevolution range is the Daikin Altherma 3, the first air to water heat pump running on R-32. The signature Bluevolution technology and a combination of highly efficient Daikin compressors and R-32 refrigerant allows leaving water temperature up to 65°C and as such is the optimal solution for radiators, fan coils and underfloor heating.
When it comes to the refrigeration business, Daikin bases for example its Mini-ZEAS units on the proven ZEAS-technology which is designed especially for use in restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets and gas stations. While running on R-410Agreenhouse gas emissions can be significantly reduced thanks to a lower refrigerant charge.. The new Mini-ZEAS operates in ambient temperatures from -20°C to +43°C to achieve evaporating temperatures from -20°C to +5°C and being a pre-charged plug-and-play solution is quick and easy to install. For the first time at Chillventa Daikin presents condensing units by Zanotti running on R-407H as well as a Tewis CO2 solution.
This diverse portfolio shows that Daikin offers various cooling solutions for all applications using different refrigerants, with the continued effort to fulfil the high expectations towards the aspects of security and safe operation as well as environmental friendliness and energy efficiency.
Combining design and efficiency
When it comes to the indoor range, the new wall mounted Daikin Stylish combines the best of performance, technology and design in the thinnest and most compact indoor unit in its market segment. ”Designed to provide superior comfort, performance and energy efficiency”, says Naoki Sakai, the Japanese designer of Daikin Stylish, who is proud that his creation earned the Good Design Award for its innovative elegant look and functional capabilities. Daikin Stylish uses Flash Streamer and offers the highest efficiency in the design segment with A+++ for heating and cooling. Daikin designed a new fan that runs at a practically inaudible sound level to occupants. And by using the refrigerant R-32, the ecological impact of this units is reduced by 30%, and the energy consumption by more than 10%.
