Replacements – Daikin360

Rely on the expertise of Daikin when it comes to replacing your building's outdated equipment.

Our approach

When it’s time to replace your building’s outdated equipment, you can count on the expertise of your Daikin Service team. Our experts will recommend the latest technologies to enhance comfort, reduce noise, and improve indoor air quality. If needed, we can conduct an energy audit on both Daikin and non-Daikin equipment to identify potential energy savings from refurbishment.

Replacing a heating or cooling installation often involves many stakeholders, including F-gas certified installers, electricians, and project managers. Daikin can take this burden off your shoulders and manage the project from start to finish. We assume full responsibility for the turnkey delivery, coordinating every step to ensure a smooth and efficient process.

It’s the Daikin360 approach to serving our customers.

Your trusted advisor

Personalised approach

Our goal is to help customers save money. We start by understanding your specific needs when it comes to not only cooling and heating, but also sustainability and risk management. In parallel, we do a thorough evaluation to assess the condition of your existing equipment and surrounding systems. We then gather the data and propose a solution that meets your objectives. After executing what we promised, we follow up with after-care support. Our team can also recommend a Daikin360 protective maintenance plan to keep your building running optimally.

Single-source service partner

Our Daikin team is there to support your project needs. We can investigate the most suitable and optimised solution for your installation and implement it for you. Our factory-trained technicians work on all HVAC equipment brands and control systems.

We can also offer temporary cooling solutions to ensure minimal interruption to your operations.

As your single-source provider, we can handle all the project’s details from end to end. We understand the responsibilities and challenges involved in designing, managing, and executing complicated and demanding projects that require a significant degree of detail and coordination.

Control systems

Control systems are at the heart of any state-of-the-art HVAC-R equipment. With the right system in place, you can optimise performance while maintaining comfort—resulting in substantial cost savings over time. Daikin control systems are designed to precisely manage temperature, humidity, and airflow to create ideal indoor environments tailored to diverse commercial and industrial applications, including hotels, offices, shops, and infrastructure cooling. Beyond traditional control features, Daikin offers advanced capabilities such as remote monitoring, energy optimisation, and support for preventive maintenance. These features help extend equipment lifespan and reduce downtime.

Why do we need control systems?

Depending on the type of user and application, Daikin develops controls and cloud services to ensure the best experience:

  • For building owners, it means easy and personalised control for occupants as well as integration with centralised control systems.
  • For technical managers, it means cloud access to all sites, with tools to benchmark and optimise system performance.
  • For installers, it means the easy transfer of settings during commissioning, along with remote error retrieval and preventive alerts to streamline maintenance and service.

What can controls do for your specific business?

  • Hotel

Improved guest comfort is always a priority, with features such as guest control of basic room functions. Energy savings and optimisation are achieved through several mechanisms, such as key card, window contact integration, and heat recovery between rooms. Daikin also enables energy consumption monitoring, while hotel managers and installers benefit from online control for efficient management and maintenance.

  • Office

Control options for office applications provide automatic building-wide management alongside personalised, localised control for office staff—ensuring flexibility and comfort. Seamless integration into existing building management systems (BMS) optimises energy efficiency. Energy use can be monitored and managed at the zone level or across entire sites. Online control allows remote management by building managers and installers, including for larger organisations.

  • Data center

Daikin HVAC-R systems excel in infrastructure cooling applications. Automatic control ensures optimal cooling, while back-up operation guarantees 24/7 uninterrupted service for small server rooms. The duty rotation functionality maximises equipment lifespan, while the customised control possibilities safeguard equipment in technical cooling rooms.

  • Shop

Comprehensive control systems for shops include automatic system management, supported by zone control for tailored comfort. Seamless BMS integration helps optimise building performance. Energy consumption can be closely monitored and managed using advanced control options, including free cooling. Multi-site management and online control enable shop managers and installers to operate more efficiently and implement a thorough preventive maintenance plan.

  • Industrial

Control systems for industrial applications deliver maximum energy efficiency, exceptional reliability and performance, and optimal serviceability. With robust cloud capabilities and digital control features—including scheduling, 24/7 alarm management, and energy efficiency optimisation—Daikin systems meet strict uptime requirements. Multi-site management and online control empower both site managers and installers to ensure efficient operation and enable proactive maintenance strategies.

Gateways

Our different controller options are configured to meet the most demanding connectivity requirements, including support for Modbus, LonWorks, BACnet, and KNX interfaces. These options enable the following:

Enhanced system control and monitoring

  • Data exchange: Collected data can be used for performance analysis, trend identification, and fault detection, as needed.
  • Optimised control: Data from active systems is used to enhance control efficiency, reducing energy consumption and operating costs.
  • Remote access and repairs: Gateways enable remote monitoring and control by site managers, end users, or installers, depending on the application. This also reduces the number of on-site engineering visits, as diagnostics can be performed remotely before dispatching a technician.
  • All traffic runs over HTTPS and is initiated by the edge. There is no need to allow unsolicited incoming traffic.

Enhanced system integration

  • Seamless communication: These protocols enable the equipment to communicate effectively with other building systems such as lighting, security, and energy management.
  • System expansion: By supporting multiple protocols, products can be easily integrated into various building automation systems, enabling future expansion and upgrades.
