Gateways
Our different controller options are configured to meet the most demanding connectivity requirements, including support for Modbus, LonWorks, BACnet, and KNX interfaces. These options enable the following:
Enhanced system control and monitoring
- Data exchange: Collected data can be used for performance analysis, trend identification, and fault detection, as needed.
- Optimised control: Data from active systems is used to enhance control efficiency, reducing energy consumption and operating costs.
- Remote access and repairs: Gateways enable remote monitoring and control by site managers, end users, or installers, depending on the application. This also reduces the number of on-site engineering visits, as diagnostics can be performed remotely before dispatching a technician.
- All traffic runs over HTTPS and is initiated by the edge. There is no need to allow unsolicited incoming traffic.

For commercial applications, Daikin offers two Remote monitoring platforms, tailored to the specific equipment used at your site:
Daikin Cloud Plus
- Aimed mainly at VRV, Sky Air, air curtains, and ventilation products as a monitoring and site management platform.
- Can integrate lighting and other facility management systems for full control of the site.
Daikin On Site
- Aimed at our Applied offering, this multi-feature platform targets chillers and/or AHUs.
- Designed to be a collaborative platform for all people managing the operation and maintenance of the site.
