The Parque Empresarial Vía Norte is a business center in Madrid. The Merlin Properties building with a gross floor area of 7.500 m2 mainly offers office space. The owner wanted to upgrade the R-22 system from 1996 to a more efficient solution, while keeping investment costs under control.

The replacement of the system involved only to replace the outdoor and indoor units, while keeping the wiring and piping. Therefore the works could be done quicker and with reduced impact on the tenants.

With the new sytem in place energy was saved and comfort brought to the latest standards.
