25.10.2017; Daikin Altherma, Heat Pumps

Daikin´s Altherma is Europe´s leading heat pump brand. Its newest version connects with Daikin´s Cloud Service, offers smart heating controls and is more energy efficient than ever.

Vienna, Oct. 25th, 2017 – Just imagine: It is autumn and it is cold outside, dark and damp. But as you come back home warmth welcomes you and coziness. Oh, home sweet home. The place to be on days like these. And the best is yet to come – all this comfort is provided to you and your house by one single product: the Daikin Altherma 3.

Others may have worries about their use of oil or gas for heating and thereby about their fossil-fuel-carbon-footprint, some may be a bit annoyed by the noise connected with their heating and again others may wish for temperatures fitting the various rooms in their house. Worries and thoughts an owner of Daikin´s Altherma 3 does not know.

It is the ideal choice to stay warm and comfortable at home and additionally having enough hot water for everyone. No more fossil fuels, no more excessive heating costs. No matter how cold it is outside, thanks to Daikin´s pedigree trademark in frost protection down to -25°C.

After a quick installation and easy integration in smart controls assuring consistent room temperatures at all times, the Daikin Altherma 3 provides homeowners with the highest energy-rated comfort, either in new builds or in low energy houses.

Modern, efficient and smart

It is a visual delight of its own. The compactness of the integrated indoor unit is emphasized by its sleek design and modern look, easy blending in with other household appliances in the basement or somewhere else. Rated A+++, the air-to-water heat pump is equally suited for new and retrofit installation as well as suitable for connection with underfloor heating systems and radiators, fitting perfectly in your low energy home

Powerd by Bluevolution – the innovative air conditioning solution for heating and cooling requirements from Daikin – the system runs with low environmental impact and can heat and store high volumes of hot water up with low standing losses. With the addition of thermal solar panels, the system can use up to 70 percent of the solar energy required for the hot water production.

“With many years of air-to-water heat pump experience and over 350.000 units installed throughout Europe, we strive continuously to optimise the operational performance of Daikin Altherma products.” said Daikin Europe’s Deputy General Manager, Bart Aspeslagh. “This is achieved by a constant focus on minimising power intake requirements across each new product development process, resulting in further reductions in running costs.”

With the smart control technology Daikin Altherma 3 can be controlled remotely from anywhere via the Daikin Online Controller smartphone app or an on-line controller – allowing adjustment of home comfort levels to suit individual preferences while achieving further energy efficiencies. The system can also be fully integrated with others home control systems.

Talking about comfort, the Daikin Altherma 3 is delivered ready to go, tested and charged with refrigerant. Configuration is simple using the supplied configuration wizard, which can be downloaded (from 2018 this tool will also be available online via the Daikin Cloud Service). All servicing can be done from the front by removing front panel and all piping can be accessed at the top of the unit.

All you have to do is to enjoy the comfort.
