Daikin invited a group of more than 100 dealers, installers, designers and consultants from over 14 countries to its European Refrigeration Days in Bologna, close to the Zanotti factory. The objective of the event was to provide latest product line-up information on refrigeration solutions including Zanotti, as well as important legislative updates.
Vienna, December 21st 2017 – In 2017 the yearly Daikin event, which was initiated in 2010, took place from November 29th to December 1st in Bologna, Italy in geographical proximity to the company headquarter of Zanotti, which since 2016 is a part of the Daikin group. With the acquisition of Zanotti Daikin expanded its product range while continuing to enhance its market position as a comprehensive air conditioning and refrigeration manufacturer. „The refrigeration market has been changing rapidly these last years. In fact, we do not only want to be active in the commercial refrigeration market but see it as our mission to enter the complete cold chain “, Niko Baekelandt, manager of the Refrigeration Department at Daikin Europe emphasized during the event.
The goal of the event was to provide latest product line-up information on refrigeration solutions including a presentation of the recently launched Daikin Mini-ZEAS, important legislative updates which influence use of refrigerants and energy efficiency as well as an introduction to the Daikin manufacturing philosophy. The company also provided an outlook on its future refrigeration solution roadmap reflecting the latest legislative developments in a fast changing environment.
The Daikin dealers and consultants also had the opportunity to visit the Zanotti factory in Pegognaga, which is home to production lines for stationary as well as transport refrigeration equipment. As an add-on, the guests were invited to get a glimpse of other high technology during a visit of the Ferrari museum in Maranello.
