This game-changer in commercial climate control boasts a new open communication protocol, enabling seamless integration with other commercially available controllers for greater flexibility and a wider range of specification choices. The FWF-D unit also offers a range of benefits, making it an eco-friendly and efficient choice for cooling and heating simple to install.
Vienna, February 2024 – Commercial spaces such as offices, hotels, or retail shops can be heated and cooled with this new solution, providing optimal comfort: Based on the brushless direct current (BLDC) fan motor, the solution delivers precise operational control with a four-way air discharge for maximum airflow and a cooling capacity from 2kW – 5kW. The advantage of the open protocol also lies in the easy integration of third-party controllers. Additionally, the energy consumption has been reduced thanks to the FWF-D brushless direct current (BLDC) fan motor and drain pump.
More benefits
As a two- or four-pipe configuration, the new FWF-D cassette can be supplied with two- or three-way on/off valves – available as an option or factory fitted on the unit.
Thermal insulation as standard accessory is designed to fit the shape of the valve for simpler fitting.
Low-sound performance makes the FWF-D cassette an ideal solution for working environments and shared spaces.
Supplied as standard with an 835mm lift, the drain pump increases flexibility while reducing installation times.
Carrying through the high design standards that have earned Daikin global recognition, the new FWF-D fan coil cassette unit fits into a standard 600 x 600mm architectural module.
Cassettes are available with a standard BYFQ60B3 air diffusion panel or alternatively as a fully flat decorative panel (requiring an additional adaptor) in a white (BYFQ60CW) or a silver/white color combination (BYFQ60CS) for maximum concealment and style.
