Daikin to showcase pioneering cold chain solutions at Chillventa 2024

Vienna, August 2024 – Daikin, a global leader in refrigeration and cold chain solutions, is excited to announce its participation in Chillventa 2024, the premier international trade fair for refrigeration and cold chain. This year’s event will take place from October 8-10, 2024, at the Nuremberg Messe, Germany.

Pioneering Cold Chain Solutions

During the fair, Daikin invites all stakeholders in the cold chain industry to dynamic meeting formats at their nearly 450 m² stand for exchange and inspiration. Olivier Lagrabette, Department Manager Cold Chain at Daikin Europe: "We will present our latest innovations and comprehensive solutions across the entire cold chain spectrum, including our brands Daikin, AHT, Hubbard, Tewis, and Zanotti. We aim to initiate discussions with partners, customers, and industry stakeholders about future-proof solutions and to demonstrate our global commitment to efficiency, sustainability, and reliability throughout the entire cold chain."

This year's motto "United Beyond Cold"

The motto "United Beyond Cold" expresses Daikin's commitment to showcasing its comprehensive brand expertise for the entire range of refrigeration solutions.

At the center are the Daikin CO2 system and the company’s extensive cold chain portfolio. New products and solutions in the field of commercial refrigeration will be presented. Visitors can look forward to innovative system solutions featuring the refrigerants R290 and CO2, the next generation of Daikin’s Monoblock technology, advanced solutions for both industrial and semi-industrial applications, as well as digital products designed to monitor all electronic devices in supermarkets, enhancing operational efficiency and reliability.  Included are the new AHT Chest Freezer, an innovation set to revolutionize the commercial plug-in refrigeration industry, and the new modular SPI CIRCUMPOLAR, a central unit in the efficient Semi Plug-in (SPI) system.

Daikin’s wider refrigerant strategy

In the light of the F-gas regulation revision, Daikin will also give an outlook on future refrigerant alternatives in Europe for HVAC-R systems. During the Chillventa Specialist Forum on the 9th of October 2024, the manufacturer will address applications, affordability, safety, and future-readiness of HVAC-R systems using these future refrigerants.
